This
is an image of an 8"x10" photo of one of Lou's covers. The genre
is late 1940's judging from the poster for the 1948 movie "Lady on a
Train." We haven't determine what the illustration was
for. The paper is heavy photo stock.
Lou photographed many of his works at this stage of his career because
he knew that art directors often kept the originals. Although
that practice diminished greatly after artists began putting limited
rights notices on their bills of sale and invoices, it never stopped
completely.
